Xiaomi smartphone owners around the world are complaining about strange touch screen glitches. This is reported by Gizmochina with a link to comments on Reddit.

The problem affected at least six models of the brand's smartphones:

  1. Xiaomi Mi 11
  2. Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra
  3. Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite
  4. Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro
  5. Redmi Note 10 Pro
  6. Redmi Note 9S.

The owners of these devices are all over the place complaining about the problems with the response of the display to touch. They all express themselves differently, but in general, it can be described as follows: the smartphone has become more difficult to control. Users write that they tried to reboot devices and even restore factory settings, but all this does not help.

It is worth saying that the problem has appeared recently, and is present only on devices running MIUI. Many come to the conclusion that the matter is in MIUI - or rather, in the latest system update. Xiaomi notes that they are aware of the problem with the touchscreen display.

The MIUI 12.5 update has already brought a lot of problems to Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO smartphones - their owners are massively complaining about the net. Even the flagship MI 11 and Mi 11 Ultra suffered - before the update, they were mercilessly warming up, and after it, they lost significantly in power. In addition, earlier Google itself decided to fix the difficulties with push notifications on MIUI - for this, it has already sent out questionnaires to application developers.
